# Carte

> Carte brings back the business card. A card is one static HTML file (700×400 or 400×700) written as a proof sheet: a front section and a back section that render anywhere HTML renders. People hand cards over with a tap, and the app tilts, flips and draws a finish (matte, gloss, foil, holo, emboss) on them. Cards run no script, hold no links and load nothing from the internet. Contact details live in the app, never in the file.
